Merry Christmas from Oregon

I have been home in Oregon for Christmas. It has been WONDERFUL to be home again with my parents. I was nearly snowed out of Portland. My flight from Boise was delayed 30 minutes and they said it was likely to be cancelled when I was checking my bags. But it left Boise and as it was arriving in Portland and we got below the clouds, Portland was WHITE. It was beautiful. It was snowing and as we approached the runway, the runway was white! I think everyone on the plane was a bit nervous-because no one was talking at all! My mom and dad picked me up after trekking from Salem with chains on their truck and everything. I had never seen so much snow in Portland. I am just SO grateful I was able to be home! I love being home!
Oh while we were at the airport we searched through about a 1000 pieces of luggage (my sister and her husband couldn't get into Portland, they were in SLC, but their luggage somewhere missing). We found their luggage and the airline sent it to them in SL. Fun time!
Christmas was great, I especially loved hearing how my nieces and nephews enjoyed christmas and loved seeing their Christmas morning pictures!
