To better my self-sufficiency skills I am growing a tomato plant this summer! Hoorah! My stake president has challenged each member to grow one tomato. Today I planted it into a five gallon pot. I did do some research to see if it would work. I am told it will! I finally found a cheap five gallon pot to plant my little plant in, so today I dumped in the dirt and went for it. I used potting MIX instead of potting SOIL, as recommended by a farmer lady.
