Trip to Coast - End of May

I went home to visit my parents for six days. It was wonderful, wonderful. I love being home so much. We also had the opportunity to stay at a condo (my parents had some friends who offered it to them for a weekend for free). So we drove to the coast on saturday and stayed through Monday afternoon. It was a blast. The picture of the coast line with a lot of buildings, those are where the condo was(Otter Crest Inn). We went to Depot Bay and watched the fishermen bring in their fish and we stood above right where they were ....skinned...gutted...I am not sure what the proper term is. We stopped at the candy store, ate a great sea food fish dive and Moe's too. Driving home on Monday we stopped at Lincoln City and set out to fly Dad's kite. But the kite string was tangled, so we spent and hour untangling the string and when it was ready only stayed up for a couple of seconds. It was fun though. I also loved being home in Salem. The Willammette Valley is beautiful, and it is just plain nice to be home.
